Mrs. Beatrice Olayinka Olubunmi JP, hails from both Lagos and Ogun State by birth.  She had her first School Leave Certificate in 1972. She did her West Africa School Certificate in 1980. She had her Higher Stage Certificate in Marketing & Public Relations (London Chamber of Commerce & Industry) in 1983. She had her Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) AAT in 1991, had her Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) ACCA in 2002.  She had MBA in Financial Management in 2004, from Lagos State University.

She worked with the Federal Ministry of Employment, Labour and Productivity where she headed the post of a Clerical Officer between 1980 and 1981.  She worked at Sunny-whyte and Co. as a Public Relations Officer (PRO) from 1984 to 1986, also worked at Booty & Co., as a P.R.O/Co-ordinator from 1986 to 1989, then worked at Lazzura Nigeria Limited as a Accounts Assistant from 1989 to 1991.  She moved to Olawuwo Olagunju & Co., as a Audit Staff from 1991 to 1993.  She was once worked at Classic Home Savings & Loans Limited, as an Assistant Accountant in 1993, she then worked at Mojibola Oluwa & Co., (Chartered Accountants) as a Senior Audit Officer between 1993 and 2001, later worked at Myloid Telecommunications Limited as an Accountant/Supervisory Head from 2001 to 2004 and also with Apple Tree Nigeria Limited as a MD/CEO from 2004-till date.

Mrs. B.O. Olayinka Makinde is the M.D/CEO of Apple Tree Nigeria Limited, a chartered accountant by profession.  She holds the AAT and ACA Certificate from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and an MBA degree in Financial Management, from Lagos State University (LASU).  She holds certificate in Public Relations and Marketing from the London Chambers of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) UK. She has worked in various organizations for thirty two years, both in private and public organisations, out of which 13 years were spent auditing.  She is the founder of Apple life foundation, an NGO she founded 17 years ago, which takes care of the less privileged in the society.

Mrs. Beatrice Olayinka Makinde JP is a committed professional with passion of giving back to the society what she has gained in her personality development.  A devout Christian, her contributions to advancement of spiritual life of women and the less privileged through her NGO has accrued prominence to her both within and abroad.  She is happily married and blessed with children.
