In the face of youth restiveness and severe agitations in the Niger Delta region, one man continually seeks for hope, peace and development for the people. He is Pastor (DR.) Williams Aminadokiari Samuel Abomaye Nimenibo.

A hardworking, service-oriented,compassionate and selfless personality.He has over the years, built bridges of cooperation and understanding in the region.

Currently, the Head, Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation's mega stations in Port Harcourt and Yenagoa, Pastor (DR.) Abomaye-Nimenibo has made outstanding contributions to human and material development of oil producing areas of Niger Delta.

When he joined the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) as an Assistant Administrative Supervisor in 1991, Pastor Abomaye-Nimenibo's dreams was to use his position to better the lots of the people. Over time, many lives have been touched positively by him. Apart from providing job opportunities for indigenes of the community,he was able to handle various claims involving the staff welfare and development.

Pastor Abomaye-Nimenibo has served in various capacities in the NNPC. He has worked in the Personnel and Industrial Relations unit, manpower development and development and training and manpower recruitment and records.

Within the Rivers State Civil Service, where he had also served between 1980 and 1991, Pastor (DR.) Abomaye-Nimenibo proved his mettle. He distinguished himself in different administrative positions, where he contributed immensely to the smooth running of government affairs.

Williams Abomaye-Nimenibo was born on September 21,1961 into the Kiribe Royal family. After obtaining his basic Ordinary and Advanced Level Certificates, he got a Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations in 1990. In quick succession, he bagged his Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics with Second Class Honours, Masters of Science and Doctorate Degree also in Economics between 1996 and 2008.

Pastor (DR) Abomaye-Nimenibo has also undergone several trainings on Labour Management Relations, developing, skills and strategies in contracts and other negotiations and other top quality management workshops.

Against all odds and in an atmosphere of threats, molestations, attempted assassination and even the kidnap of his daughter, Pastor (DR.) Abomaye-Nimenibo remains undaunted and continues to contribute his quota to tackling the knotty and multifarious challenges confronting the people of the Niger Delta. He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management .

Pastor (DR.) Abomaye-Nimenibo enjoys reading, swimming, evangelism, traveling, hardwork and indoor games. He abhors cheating, lying, and indolence.

He is married to Mrs. Silverline Kaine Abomaye-Nimenibo and the union is blessed with children.
